I made this the same way that I make chicken and it was so good in fact better than the chicken dishes, almost like the restaurant ones.It was creamy and yummy. My daughter enjoyed it too that is most imp to me.
Ingredients
1 cup cauliflower florets
1/2 cup peas
1 big onion
2 tomatoes
10 cashews
salt
tandoori chicken masala/garam masala
chilli powder
1 tsp cumin
1 bayleaf
2 cloves
2 cardamoms
Method
- Take the whole onion and the tomatoes and put in a microwave safe bowl with water to cover both and cook for 8 minutes.
- In the meantime, heat water and add the cauliflower with salt and turmeric and boil for about 5 minutes and drain the water.(cauliflower should not get fully cooked )
- When the onions and tomatoes are done, blend together with cashews, tandoori chicken masala, chilli powder and salt.
- Heat oil in a pan ,add oil and when hot add all the spices, the blended gravy and cook till the raw smell goes(wont take too long)
- Add the cauliflower and the peas and cook till well combined and done.

Hey! In answer to your Q on my blog:
Almond Puris: Instead of the sugar syrup can we dip the puris in Rabri or something like that??
You totally can, it called Paal Puri which means Milk Puri. That is another version of the sweet puri. I tried to do both at once with the milk halwa accompaniment in this recipe. But in short, yes that would be delicious too.
We normally would pour the rabri just before serving, or it gets too soggy.
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments.
Mouth watering Gobi Mattar. Looks perfect.
Yummy looking gobi matar, Neema!
